Bloons Conception Wiki

The Spec-Laser 42X is an awesome tower. It has the default four targeting options, with an additional two that are like the Mortar and Dartling; it can target the firstmost, lastmost, closest, or the strongest bloon, and it can also target one specific area and follow the mouse. Besides being this impressive, it also has different modes, which can be set from a submenu:

Attack: Fires a red beam that has 25 pierce and pops 1 layer/second. Can pop frozen and lead bloons.

Support: Fires a blue beam that has 50 pierce and pops 1 layer/3 seconds. It can pop frozen bloons, but not leads, but also slows bloons down to 95% of their regular speed, to enable more poppage.

Stun: Fires a yellow beam that has 10 pierce and pops 1 layer/second. It has the secondary effect of the Bloon Impact; it stuns. It can pop frozen and lead bloons.

Value: Fires a green beam that has 12 pierce and pops 1 layer/1.5 seconds. Besides being a weaker version of Attack, it also gives twice as much money per pop. This stacks with Monkey Town. It can pop frozen bloons, but not leads.

More modes can be purchased; upgrades don't specifically effect one mode and usually give at least minor boosts to all. It costs $5000 on Medium because pure awesomeness.

Upgrades[]

Path 1[]

Energy Oscillator[]

Description: Pierce is increased by 50%.

Cost: $1500

Attack has 38 pierce, Support has 75 pierce, Stun has 15 pierce, Value has 18 pierce.

Light Beam[]

Description: Enables the Light mode.

Cost: $1900

Light Beam has 100 pierce (Technically 66, but is automatically under the effect of Energy Oscillator), pops 1 layer/1.5 seconds, and melts down frozen bloons. Lead bloons aren't effected, but are slowed down to 30% of their speed.

Dual Lasers[]

Description: Special dual-core firing modules enable two lasers, for more carnage.

Cost: $9000

The two lasers, unlike other dual-firing towers, can have independant modes and firing methods. Nothing interesting happens if you cross the beams.
