The Security Drone is a Support Tower for Bloons TD 6 that is introduced in a future update. It is unlocked after 3,500,000 pops like Dartling Gunner, Beast Handler, Mermonkey, and Desperado. Costing $1,000 in Medium Mode, the flying mobile drone increases the towers' pierce by +2 within its radius. Since it lacks a landing base akin to Heli Pilot and Monkey Ace, the Security Drone can be placed anywhere, including Outer Space. Upgrades focus on each path: the first is improving strength of the towers, the second is capable of stalling bloons as well as having a movable laser, and the third is delivering Monkey Money-paid items.

Damage Boost ($700)

• Description: "Increases damage to nearby towers."
• Stats:

Improved Strength ($1,250)

• Description: "Gives nearby towers more damage and pierce."
• Stats:
  • +1p (+3) and +1d (+2) to anything in range

Popping Streak ($4,500)

• Description: "Nearby towers greatly increase attack speed and perform crits that deal high, multiplied damage for a shorter time. Stacks up to four times."
• Stats:
  • Boost buffed: +2p (+5) and +1d (+2) to anything in range
  • All towers within the Security Drone's radius gain an eponymous status effect that increases reload time (s) by +7.5% and have a critical hit (crit) chance of +5% every 100 damage dealt. The effect lasts 10 seconds, stacks up to four times, and the timer resets upon taking another 100 damage.
    • Buffed crits deal 3x damage

Powerful Combos ($20,000)

• Description: "Popping Streak is stronger and towers within radius have their crits deal massive damaage to MOAB-Class Bloons with full health."
• Stats:
  • Boost buffed: +3p (+8) and +1d (+3) to anything in range
  • Popping Streak status effect buffed: +2.5%s (+10%) and +4% crit chance (+9%)
  • Precision crits deal 75md to MOAB-Class Bloons with full health. They do no affect to those with their health already depleted.

Tactical Uprising ($130,000)

• Description: "Doubles nearby towers' projectiles as well as ignoring their Line of Sight, so that no Bloon is safe from this unconquerable Drone."
• Stats:
  • Boost buffed: ignores Line of Sight to anything in range
  • Popping Streak status effect buffed: +5%s (+15%) and +3% crit chance (+12%). Crits deal 5x damage.
  • Precision crits buffed: +175md (+250) to MOAB-Class Bloons with full health
  • All towers within the Security Drone's radius double the projectile count

• Description: "Increases the Security Drone's influence radius."
• Stats:

Smokescreen Aura ($1,500)

• Description: "Smoke emitted from the flare gun take damage to nearby Bloons."
• Stats:
  • Uses a flare gun that emits smoke inside the Security Drone's radius, taking +1d with +4md (+5) to all Bloons within it.

Portable UFO ($7,000)

• Description: "Black Hole ability: pulls nearby non-MOAB class bloons and holds them within the UFO for a few seconds."
• Stats:
  • Smokescreen aura buffed: damage taken increased by +1d (+2)
  • Adds a first activated ability: Black Hole – The Security Drone brings all nearby non-MOAB class bloons within its range and holds them. The ability lasts 8 seconds and has a cooldown of 45 seconds with 13.5 seconds initially.

Midnight Saucer ($12,500)

• Description: "The UFO abilities are improved upon: Black Hole now affects MOAB-Class Bloons and pops several layers every few seconds, and Orbital Strike follow whatever you direct the location to disintegrate many Bloons with the ease."

  • Smokescreen aura buffed: damage taken increased by +1d (+3) and +4md (+7)
  • Black Hole activated ability buffed: can now affect MOAB-Class Bloons up to BFB rank and deals 2d with +3md (+5) every second
  • Adds a second activated ability: Orbital Strike – triggers a Energy-type blue orbital beam that is followed by the cursor or through tapping the screen for 7.50 seconds, damaging Bloons every 0.50s to deal 2d and ∞p. The ability has a cooldown of 45 seconds with 18 seconds initially.

Bloonsday Apopalypse ($67,500)

• Description: "Beware: this cataclysm is among us."
• Stats:
  • Smokescreen aura buffed: damage taken increased by +2d (+5) and +5md (+12)
  • Black Hole activated ability buffed: can now affect ZOMGs and deals +5md (+10)
  • Orbital Strike activated ability buffed: 5d, +7md (+12), damage type changed to Normal, and lasts for 12s. In addition, the beam periodically leaves Energy-type plasma pools via RNG, dealing 3d and 10p every 1s.

Path 3

Enhanced Mobility ($500)

• Description: "Allows the Security Drone to move faster."
• Stats:
  • Movement speed increases to 45 units per second

Tower Platform ($1,050)

• Description: "Adds a small platform for any type of a single tower."
• Stats:
  • Adds a single 9-unit platform for other towers. Water-placeable towers (except for amphibious ones), Tier 5 towers; Paragons; Heroes; All Banana Farms, Monkey Villages, Beast Handlers, Heli Pilot and Monkey Ace's landing bases, Geraldo's tower-like items, and temporary towers; Sun Temples and its upgrades True Sun God and Vengeful True Sun God; Portable Lakes; Pontoons; and Rosalia or her workshop cannot be placed on the Security Drone's platform.

Insta-Monkey Loadout ($9,000)

• Description: "Randomly drops a Tier 2 Insta-Monkey every few rounds."
• Stats:
  • Platform size buffed: +3 units (12)
  • Drops a random Tier 2 Insta-Monkey every five rounds. It excludes upgrades gained from other paths.

Better Packages ($25,000)

• Description: "Adds another tower platform and Insta-Monkey drops are more powerful."

Perfect Delivery ($80,000)
