The Ninja Surprise is a Special Agent of a similar nature to the Super Monkey Storm. It costs 35 Monkey Money to purchase. The Surprise appears as a simple wooden crate, with illegible scribbles on one side.
the Ninja Surprise works by being dropped onto the map in a spot chosen by the player. After landing, the box will burst open and a cloud of smoke (with the occasional Ninja Monkey being visible) obscures a 120-pixel diameter area around where the Surprise was dropped for three seconds. All regular Bloons that enter the smoke cloud will be popped fully. MOAB-Class Bloons are unaffected.
Ninja Surprise Pro[]
"The latest batch of crates is a lot larger, and has "More Ninjas" written on their sides. The Bloons definitely won't like these."
Upon the purchase of fifty Ninja Surprises (for a total expense of 1700 Monkey Money), the Ninja Surprise Pro is unlocked and replaces any regular Ninja Surprises in the player's inventory. The Ninja Surprise Pro now affects MOAB-Class Bloons, by slowing them down when they enter the cloud. The smoke cloud also lasts for two additional seconds, for a total of five seconds.
The appearance of the Surprise also changes slightly, with a larger crate and the smoke cloud having a darker tinge to it.
Ninja Surprise Epic[]
"How many ninjas is too much? Still more than what's in these latest crates, apparently. These huge shipping containers have "Even More Ninjas" written on their sides."
After the purchase of an additional seventy-five Ninja Surprise Pros (for a total expense of 2625 additional Monkey Money), the Ninja Surprise Epic is unlocked and can be used alongside Ninja Surprise Pros. Ninja Surprise Epics last for ten seconds, have an increased 150-pixel diameter area of effect, and can cripple MOAB-Class Bloons, damaging them for half their health and halving their speed. As a side effect of the increased power, Ninja Surprise Epics cost 70 Monkey Money.
The appearance of the Ninja Surprise Epic is that of a much larger shipping container, painted to look wooden. The smoke cloud becomes dark and is occasionally lit up by flash bombs.
