- I Believe I Can Fly is a reference to a song by R. Kelly, made for the movie Space Jam.
  - And yes, I know that R. Kelly is a piece of sh*t, but let's not get into that.
- I'm An ~~Enjinear~~ ~~Egrneeg~~ ~~Enguhnner~~ I Build Stuff! is a reference to a mug that has the writing, "I'm a ~~mechannik~~ ~~mecanic~~ ~~mekanik~~ I fix planes!"
- How Many Bloons Could A Bloonchipper Chip If A Bloonchipper Could Chip Bloons? is a reference to the popular tongue twister, "How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?"
- We're Gonna Need A Bigger Boat is a reference to a famous quote from the movie Jaws.
- The Monkey of Steel is a reference to Superman's nickname of "the Man of Steel."
- Not The Fortnite Guy is a reference to the Twitch streamer Ninja.
- The Floor Is Spikes! is a reference to the childhood game "The floor is lava!"
  - It could also be seen as a reference to the 2017 meme, spawned from the aforementioned childhood game.
- Big Boom is a reference to the Geometry Dash online level of the same name.
- Eat Fresh! is a reference to the sandwich restaurant Subway.
- Airbus > Boeing is a reference to Airbus and Boeing, the two biggest aircraft manufacturers.
  - The reason that Airbus is better than Boeing in my opinion is because my dad works for Airbus. No other reason.
    - Also, the A380.
- Thanoscopter is a reference to the Thanoscopter from Marvel comics, a short-lived vehicle that Thanos used to travel.
- Brick is a reference to people calling physical stores "brick and mortar."
- Banned for Spam is a reference to the Dartling Gunner's fast attack speed.
- Listen Up, Maggots! is a reference to stereotypical strict drill sergeants in war movies.
- Will That Be All, Mr. Stark? is a reference to Pepper Potts from Marvel comics, specifically the incarnation of her from the Marvel cinematic universe.
- Unidentified Flying Monkey is a reference to the acronym U.F.O., which stands for Unidentified Flying Object.
- I'm Not Racist is a reference to the fact that Ice Monkey is a racial slur against white people. (Blame Wikipedia for this... wonderful piece of knowledge.)
- The Monkey Who Lived is a reference to Harry Potter.
- Are You Sure They Aren't Dryads? is a reference to dryads from Greek mythology.
- Pretty Basic is a reference to the Alchemist Monkey using acids, which are opposite from bases on the pH scale.
- Chaos, But Not Chaotic is a reference to Chaos from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, namely Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Generations, and Sonic Forces.
- They Do Have Teeth, Contrary To Popular Belief is a reference to Toothless from the How to Train Your Dragon books and movies.
- Mr. Stark, I Don't Feel So Good is a reference to the iconic ending sceen of Avengers: Infinity War. (Look, I know it's spoilers, but not only did you likely watch it in cinemas, but it's been out on DVD since August of 2018. Even then, it was a meme when the movie first released, and arguably still is today. No excuses.)
- It's-A-Me is a reference to Mario's iconic catchphrase.
- New Monk City is a reference to both the real-life New York City and New Donk City from Super Mario Odyssey.
- Banana Republic is a reference to both the clothing store of the same name and the old name for the 3/x Banana Farm in Bloons Tower Defense 5.
- Not Sexual, I Swear is a reference to something that I found out while searching Banana Farmer that I will not mention here. (If you're under the age of 13, please do not look this up, for the love of God almighty.)
- This Isn't BTD4 is a reference to the fact that the original Monkey Beacon was last seen in Bloons Tower Defense 4, but this version is heavily altered.
- I Wanna Be A Bloonionare is a reference to the song Billionare by Travie McCoy and Bruno Mars, and an old obscure quiz game about Bloons.
- You've Got To Ask Yourself A Question: 'Do I Feel Lucky?' is a reference to the iconic quote from the Dirty Harry film series.
- Robin Hood is a reference to the character of the same name from English folklore.
- Not A Role Playing Game is a reference to the fact that rocket propelled grenade and role playing game share the same acronym.
