- “One small step for a monkey, one giant leap for Monkey City! Throws unstable meteorites that act as a cue ball and can be placed anywhere including Outer Space.”
- — In-game description
The Astronaut Monkey is a Magic Tower for Bloons TD 6 that is introduced in a future update. It is unlocked after 3,500,000 pops like Dartling Gunner, Beast Handler, Mermonkey, and Desperado. Costing $900 in Medium Mode, the tower is a monkey wearing an astronaut suit who throws 0-footprint Sharp-type meteorites at Bloons every 1.2s and can be placed anywhere including Outer Space. The projectiles travels at 375 absolute speed (as) dealing 1d and 5p. Upon popping each Bloon, the meteorite loses -50as. After not popping a Bloon for 3 seconds or hitting any object that has Line of Sight, the meteorite loses momentum and remain static until it is reactivated by another one. However, the meteorite can fly above liquified elements like water. Upgrades focus on each path: the first is TBA, the second is TBA, and the third is TBA.
Description[]

It was obtainable during the Monkeys From Space event from February 27, 2020, to December 17, 2023. The main distinction being a meteorite that it holds at its right hand, which aligns to the tower defense style.
